Fried Peanuts w/Garlic and Silver fish


This is an easy recipes. In Usual, this snack need to use lot of oils to deep fry the peanuts, garlic and silver fish to obtain the crispness. Now, with Buffalo Smart Fryer, you can use less oil and make this tasty, crispy peanuts snacks.

Ingredients:
1) 800g raw Peanuts
2) 1 Whole Garlic, peeled and sliced
3) 1 handful of Silver fish, remove the head of silver fish and clean the dirt.
4) Homemade Garlic Powder
5) Adequate Salt
6) 1 Tbsp Cooking oil



Steps:
1)  Boil the raw Peanuts for 5 Min, and turn off the fire then leave the peanuts in the boiling water for 15 mins. Drained it.

2) Mix the cooked peanuts, sliced garlic, and Silver Fish. And toss with 1 tbsp of oil. Add Salt & Homemade Garlic Power to the tossed peanuts.

3) Placed the tossed peanuts into the baking cage, use "FRY" mode, 150 deg for 40 min, and increase temp to 180 deg  for additional 20 min.

Kueh Momo

During Chinese or Malay festive season, Kueh Momo is a MUST HAVE Snacks. This is my version of Kueh Momo using Buffalo Smart fryer to bake it. 

It's simply sweet and delicious!


Ingredients:

1 kg plain flour
1 cup Full cream milk powder
1 medium can 'QBB' brand ghee (545gm)
250g icing sugar, and some icing sugar for coating


Steps:

1)    Fried the plain flour in a wok without added oil, till it dried and fluffy.
2)    Add milk powder and icing sugar into fried flour and mix well.
3)    Add Ghee oil to the flour and form into a dough.
4)    Use a 1 tsp spoon to measure, and roll into a round shape, line on a grease proof paper.
5)    Use “Bake” mode, 160 Deg. For 13 min


Let it cool for few minutes, and coat with icing sugar. Store in a air-tight container after cooled completely.
